I'm glad I don't work for the cops anymore.

[The Pro Leagues released a video online today and Isabel posted it on her journal as well. It's from a training facility in Domino - it's a video of Isabel training.

The video is several minutes long and shows her lifting weights, doing chin-ups, push-ups, heavy ropes, sprints and multiple other exercises. The video ends with a Real Solid Vision system generating an obstacle course with several floating platforms. She runs through the course, jumping from platform to platform, sprinting, leaping, climbing, tumbling. When she reaches the end, she runs back to the start. All of her movements look crisp.

She's dressed in a sports bra and shirts, so her arm and leg are in plain view the entire time. When she's done, someone from off screen hands her a bottle of water. She takes a swig, a confident grin on her face and a little bit of a swagger in her step. She grins at the camera and brings up her real arm, flexing it. Yeeeeaah, there's some muscle, there and she knows it.

From her expression, she sure looks like she's about ready to go.]

OOC: Isabel vs. Juudai log

[Isabel is the first Action Duel Champion! Hooray!

After she's finished celebrating in the ring (which mostly just consisted of limping around the field showing the belt off and letting people take pictures on their phone), Isabel is backstage. She's laying on an athletic training bed, her chest and leg are wrapped up. The belt is over her shoulder. She looks like she's in pain, but she doesn't even care. Only close friends or family are gonna get to see her here.

But after she gets checked out and cleared to leave, anybody else who wants to see her can get a chance, either at Sakana or on her way home.

She's gonna wanna celebrate. But she's also pretty freakin' exhausted and on some decent painkillers. So. Gonna have to keep things restrained for tonight.]

Hey guys. I got an X-ray this morning and I got a bruised hand and an MCL sprain.

Basically, my hand and leg are all taped up and the doctor doesn't want me putting much weight on my right knee right now. But I got the best nurse in the world to help me out, so I'll be fine.

So. Y'know.

You can all stop threatening to commit felony assault on a public network over lil ol' me.

[Isabel is at Domino Stadium, getting her leg and hand wrapped by the tournament physician. She has her Duel Disk in her good hand and she's calling a number: Jeanette's.

If she gets an answer, she immediately says:]

Hey. It's me.

God dammit.

...that wasn't too bad.

Got the OTK guy next. Hmn. Haven't played against Slash Draw in a while...should assume he can get it off...the damage procs off the amount of cards destroyed...destruction protection should be a good way to survive it...but I can't negate anything the card does...

Fuh. Wonder what the odds he agrees to 8k are. Ref's probably gonna wind up deciding that.

Huuuuuhhhh....crap.

[Isabel is standing over Yuma's unconscious body, next to his ship. She lets out a low sigh and reaches down, picking him up. She shakes him, just a little.]

C'mon kid, time to wake up.

[Following post is filtered from the person threatening to bomb everything.]

Shian. Eusebius. Van Der Aart. Take your dragons, split up and look for the bombs. Desde and I looking for Akae, but even if I find her, I can't do anything until those bombs are gone.

Anybody who can defuse ordnance like that, go with one of those three. Failing that, we need people who can teleport objects to a minimum safe distance.

So somebody I know started seeing someone and wants some advice on what a good place for a first date would be.

And it isn't me.

But tell me some good places that'd be okay with a level 12 hybrid and a half-plant witch.

Enzo's been buggin' me to get new pictures since I'm gonna be sticking around here.

So I got new pictures. Couple'a things.

1) Can I get a headcount on all the Signers here? Also, sorry if I set your arm on fire a couple weeks ago.
2) Haita. Juudai. Need to talk to you.
3) No, you cannot ask about my ears in the pictures. Not even if you're really, really curious.
4) They make any good games in the last three years or is it all just goat simulator and shooter shit.

I finished doing a sweep of the city and the island. There's no sign of the infestation anywhere around here. It should be safe.

...well. Safe from this, at least. Anyway. My job's done, so, I'm going back to the forest soon. Tsukumo and the rest of you...y'know what to do if you need me again.

[Later at night, at SAI's spirit house, Isabel is sitting alone - technically, she shouldn't really be here, this late past closing. She put her skills as a hunter to less-than-good-use and snuck in. She's not even sure she did a good job, she probably tripped an alarm and someone, somewhere knows she broke in. It doesn't really matter a whole lot to her. Right now, she's just sitting up in a tree somewhere, watching the spirits that make their home there.

Every so often, she quietly sniffs and brings her hand up to her eyes, wiping them clear. Then, she goes back to observing the spirits for a few moments before they start clouding up again.]

(OOC: Alternatively, if your character would have no reason to investigate the spirit house at SAI but you still wanna interact with Isabel through this event part, she can be outside Sakana or in the Domino park as necessary)

Needed to find a new battery for this thing without any money. That was fun...

Need somebody who can run tests on something of a supernatural nature. Don't have any money to pay, but, I can make it up to you somehow.

[Since the return of the students who fell victim to Cairngorgon's machinations a couple days ago, there's been a person poking around a couple places on the island and in Domino City. They're wearing a traveling cloak, including a hood up over their head that keeps them pretty much totally obscured. Besides loitering around and looking out of place, they're not really doing anything. They seem to be keeping to themselves at least.

At Duel Academy, they're mostly hanging around the Osiris Red Dorm, inspecting the damage done the previous week. In Domino City, they're exploring with a wider net, looking around the park and various places throughout the city.

...they also seem to be hanging around Sakana a lot, but never heading inside. The farthest they get is venturing into the courtyard and pacing around.]
