My only aim for joining the Academy back then was that I wanted to have fun duels. Nothing more, nothing less. I guess I thought very short term back then. Though I did kinda go through a rough patch around the discovery of the Supreme King powers, because I started to wonder what it really was that I was dueling for and... well, it was all sticky stuff back then.
I guess it wasn't until I graduated that I started looking seriously at the Pro-League, because Kouyou-san was one of my biggest inspirations. That ended up becoming my goal then. I eventually reached it and I enjoyed it, just like I'm enjoying this tournament! And of course, I'm running SAI now.
I guess long story short, back then, I wouldn't of thought I'd of been doing any of the stuff I have, because I never really thought about it. Since then... a lot has changed and I changed with it.
